01

The short answer

Before paying, check the cancellation deadline, no-show rule and when waiting begins. Conditions depend on the offer and operator. A flight delay does not automatically mean free waiting or a refunded booking.

Checklist before you ride

  1. Addresses, times and needs shared
  2. Conditions and contact saved
  3. Price and required document clarified
  4. Backup identified

Understand the decision

01

Define the need

Separate landing time from meeting time after checks and baggage. Ask whether the driver tracks the flight, which reference is used and what happens if arrival moves to another day. Provide contact without mobile data.

02

Obtain confirmation

Confirm the deadline with time zone, included waiting and subsequent cost. Ask whether changing terminal, flight or address is enough, or requires cancelling and rebooking. Save the purchase-time conditions.

03

Price and documents

Cancel through the required channel and keep time, reference and confirmation. Messaging the driver may not replace cancellation in the app or with the operator. Distinguish a bank authorisation from a settled charge; check receipt and support before assuming duplicate payment.

04

If plans change

If driver and passenger cannot meet, check terminal, door, level and phone number. Tell the operator you are present and keep messages. Challenge a fee with facts and documents; review does not promise reimbursement.

Common questions

Does sending a request guarantee a ride?

No. Wait for confirmation specifying service, date, time and conditions. An estimate or enquiry does not prove a vehicle has been assigned.

What if the conditions change?

Contact the operator through the booking channel, specify the change and request new confirmation. Keep both documents to understand any fees.

Sources and scope

Rules, fares and availability vary by place and can change. These official examples support the method; use the destination page and local authority for the current rule.

Plan and compare your transfer — Compare the group cost using real quotes and ticket prices in the same currency. Then print the checks to complete before departure.
